Bidding farewell to the FIA World Endurance Championship, Ford is set to live stream the action from the 87th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, live from the cockpit of its GT cars participating in the race in France.
In fact, Ford is setting up a Le Mans live stream on its Ford Performance YouTube channel: youtube.com/FordPerformance. During the entire race weekend – June 15-16 – web users will have an insider's view of the action, experiencing the event from the perspective of Ford's drivers.
A total of four Ford GTE Pro cars and one Ford GTE Am will take part in the race, hoping to secure a fitting end to Ford's current endurance stint, begun three years ago and notably including a 2016 Le Mans victory in the GTE Pro class. This year, three of its cars will be decked out in the colours of famous Ford GTs that claimed Le Mans victories between 1966 and 1969.
As well as being shown on TV, race fans will be able to follow the action live via the official 24 Hours of the Mans app, available for Android and iOS (with the premium pack purchase).
