Lenovo has created a desktop computer that is also a drawing pad. Unveiled at CES in Las Vegas, the Yoga A940 looks like it may be inspired by Microsoft's Surface Studio in more than one way.

The Yoga A940 has all its hardware packed away into one small-ish box at the base that sits neatly on a desk, above it stands the 27-inch display, which is attached with several hinges, allowing the user to easily flip the screen to turn it into a pad.

The computer can be operated with a mouse, a pen or with the touchscreen. Another cool element is a fixture in the base where you can place your phone to be charged wirelessly.

There's also a dial on the side of the display, called Lenovo Precision Control, which can be useful when using picture editing tools like Photoshop.

The Yoga A940 comes with top specs with 32GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, the AMD Radeon RX 560 for graphics and Intel's 8th generation Core i7 processor. You can also choose to have a QHD or a 4K resolution display, which both support the HDR technology DolbyVision.

The computer will go on sale in February for around €3,000 (RM14,114). – dpa
