Space exploration, trading, and combat game Star Citizen, in development since 2011 with a portion available to its 2.5 million early access backers, has passed US$250mil (RM1.04bil) raised.
With an average contribution of just over US$100 (RM417) per each of its 2,452,402 backers, Star Citizen shows little sign of handing over its mantle as the most crowdfunded game to date.
