Tg Piai polls: Opposition campaigns pick up steam in Pekan Nenas

PEKAN NENAS: Despite only being the second day of campaigning, opposition candidates did not spare a single moment as Barisan Nasional and Gerakan hopefuls turned up with entourages on Sunday (Nov 3) to reach out to voters in Pekan Nenas, a small town in the Tanjung Piai parliamentary constituency.

BN candidate Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, from MCA, sported a red polo tee as he kickstarted his campaign on Sunday as early as 7am in Pekan Nenas, where he was seen greeting voters along with an entourage at the morning market and several coffee shops.
