PETALING JAYA: South Klang police crippled a syndicate believed to be offering fake investment options after arresting 22 people in a rented house.
Its OCPD Asst Comm Shamsul Amar Ramli said police from the South Klang Commercial Crimes Investigation Department raided a house in Ambang Botanic 2 on Thursday (Oct 31) at 6.30pm and arrested 15 Malaysians and seven Chinese nationals, aged between 18 and 36.
They also seized 69 mobile phones, 25 computers, two Internet routers and 25 mobile SIM cards.
Among those arrested was a 34-year-old Chinese national believed to be the syndicate's "supervisor".
