SIBU: A 22-year-old jobless man was sentenced to 15 years in prison and four strokes of the rotan by a Sessions Court here on Friday (Nov 1) after he pleaded guilty to raping and robbing a hotel staff.
Obrayain Mccertny was jailed seven years and given two lashes of the rotan for the rape charge and slapped with an imprisonment term of eight years and another two strokes of the cane for robbery.
