SIBU: A labourer, who stabbed an officer of the Sibu National Anti-Drug Agency in the chest was sentenced to 17 years and two months in jail, plus five strokes of the rotan by the Sessions Court on Wednesday (Sept 11).
The accused, Raymond Bakak Kinsing, 18, from Bandar Baru Permyjaya, Miri, was sentenced to 10 years jail and three strokes of the rotan for the first charge, filed under Section 326 of the Penal Code for causing grievous hurt.
