KOTA KINABALU: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has offered to place a senior officer within the Sabah Chief Minister's office to deter corrupt practices.
MACC chief commissioner Latheefa Koya said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal has responded positively to the suggestion for the placement of the "integrity officer", other than the formation of an integrity unit at each state.
