KUALA LUMPUR: Former Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) youth chief and activist Khalid Ismath has been freed on police bail after having his statement recorded for allegedly posting a seditious tweet aimed at Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.

PSM Youth chief Nik Aziz Afiq Abdul said Khalid, who was detained on Friday night, was freed at the Dang Wangi police headquarters at 12.15pm on Saturday (Sept 14).
