Kala Malam Bulan Mengambang wins five awards

PUTRAJAYA: Neo-noir movie Kala Malam Bulan Mengambang was the star of the 21st Malaysian Film Festival last night.

It bagged five awards, including that of best film, which carried a RM50,000 prize, and best director. Other awards picked up by the movie, directed by Mamat Khalid, included that of best actor (Rosyam Nor), best art direction (Nazrul Ashraff) and best costume (Nasirah Ramlan).
