PUTRAJAYA: Fifteen cases of malaria, all involving Orang Asli children, have been reported in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, and the cause of the outbreak is being investigated, says Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
He said that from Thursday (July 11) to Monday (July 15), 15 Orang Asli, all children aged four to 10, from Kampung Pagar and Kampung Serdang in Pos Lenjang, have been diagnosed with Plasmodium vivax and have been admitted to Hospital Kuala Lipis.
