Cameraman shot by bodyguard awarded RM114,000 in damages

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang High Court granted RM114,470 in damages to RTM cameraman Mohamad Amirul Amin Mohamed, who was injured in a shooting incident on the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway three years ago.

Amirul received special damages of RM14,470, overall general damages of RM70,000 and RM30,000 in costs in a judgement read out by High Court Judge Hadhariah Syed Ismail at the court on Friday (July 19).
