BUTTERWORTH: Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has signed an Agreement of Intent with the Seberang Prai Municipal Council) (MPSP) to install solar panels on the rooftops of public markets and some designated state government offices in Penang in a move to reduce carbon footprint.
The agreement marked a significant milestone towards making MPSP Penang’s first local authority to choose solar energy generation, as well as the first municipal council in the country that is going green with TNB, through the Supply Agreement for Renewable Energy (Sare).
