PETALING JAYA: Associating homosexuality with corruption is an insult to people who have been deprived of basic livelihood and dignity simply because of their gender identity and sexuality, says lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) activist Numan Afifi (pic).

Numan's statement came in the wake of a sex video of a man and purportedly a minister that has gone viral, followed by a confession by the man who then asked that the minister be probed for corruption.
