KUANTAN: Pahang’s tourism industry needs to be rejuvenated with new ideas and programmes, said state Tourism and Culture Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin.
He said tourist arrivals in the state had increased from 966,602 people in 1986 to 9.75 million in 2012, but the number had become static lately.
