Cops seized RM7.1mil worth of illicit cigarettes

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 43,500 cartons of illicit cigarettes worth some RM7.1mil were seized following a raid at a warehouse in Shah Alam, says Comm Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani.

The Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA) director said five men, aged between 38 and 46, were detained during the operation conducted by the department's Intelligence and Special Investigation unit on Wednesday (May 22).
