Sabah government tables RM4.14bil surplus state budget for 2020

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government has tabled a RM4.14bil surplus state budget for 2020, lower than this year’s RM4.16bil, as it projects a lower revenue collection for next year.

Sabah Chief Minister and state Finance Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic) said when presenting the budget themed "Intensifying Development for the People’s Well-Being" that the estimated revenue collection for 2020 is RM4.19bil, creating a surplus of RM48.55mil.
