Johor top cop urges parties to get permits for road campaigns in Tg Piai


PONTIAN: Political parties contesting in the Tanjung Piai by-election have been urged to obtain police permits for their campaigns, especially when using election "war trucks", says Johor police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Kamarudin Md Din (pic).

Comm Datuk Mohd Kamarudin said this was to avoid any confrontation among contesting parties when they crossed paths while campaigning from their vehicles.
