TMJ gives RM500k M'sia Cup reward to Johor govt

PETALING JAYA: The Regent of Johor and Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) owner, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, has given the RM500,000 Malaysia Cup reward to the Johor state government.

Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Sahruddin Jamal, in a statement on Wednesday (Nov 13), said the Regent had consented to passing the incentive to the state government as he wanted them to use the money to clean the rivers in the state.
