Group to highlight plight of people to Kelantan Ruler

PASIR MAS: The Kelantan People’s Action Council (MTRK) will present a memorandum to Sultan of Kelantan Sultan Muhammad V on the alleged inaction of the state government in addressing the acute water supply problems and the Ladang Rakyat scandal that has displaced hundreds of residents.

Its president Azmi Ali said that the PAS-led Kelantan Government chose to keep quiet while many residents and orang asli living in the southern region, namely in Kuala Krai, Gua Musang and Jeli, were evicted from the land they had toiled for many years.
