SHAH ALAM: Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari said 14 tahfiz (Quran memorising schools) have yet to be registered in the state, including one which was closed last year.
He said they risked being shut down following the state government’s effort, through the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS), to register 200 tahfiz.
