KOTA KINABALU: A 20-year-old man has been arrested to help investigations into the suspected poaching of a bull Borneo pygmy elephant at a plantation in Sabah’s east coast Beluran district.This is the second case in a month of jumbos being poached for their tusks.
Beluran district police chief Supt Kasim Muda confirmed yesterday that the police and Sabah Wildlife Department rangers picked up the man, a guard at the plantation, at about 11.30pm on Sunday.
