KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A grand total of 90 lawmakers will make their MP debut during the first meeting of first term of the 14th Parliament next month, the highest number in Dewan Rakyat history.

“July 16 will be a day that will go down in history. The Parliament landscape will be very different because we will be seeing senior parliamentarians alongside those who are very, very young, such as Batu MP P. Prabakaran, who is still a student,” said Dewan Rakyat secretary Datuk Roosme Hamzah at a briefing session for MPs on Tuesday.
