PENANG: The Singaporean and two Johoreans from a syndicate which specialised in selling fake gold items to pawnshops nationwide have been remanded for seven days pending police investigation.
The trio, aged between 40 and 49, were produced before magistrate Sharizat Ismail at 3.30pm yesterday by investigating officer Insp Mukhlis Abdullah from the George Town commercial crime branch.
