Court to hear Lokman’s bid to stop AG’s committal proceedings

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court will hear next month an application by Umno supreme council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam to set aside leave granted to Attorney General Tan Sri Tommy Thomas for committal proceedings against him for allegedly threatening a prosecution witness.

Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah fixed Jan 9 after DPP Mohamad Mustafa P. Kunyalam informed the court that the prosecution had received an affidavit from the defence to set aside the leave to initiate the committal proceedings.
