PETALING JAYA: Malaysia stayed in the Tier 2 Watch List in the 2019 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report produced by the US State Department.
The report, which is produced annually, said the Malaysian government did not fully meet the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking, but was making significant efforts to do so.
