KUALA LUMPUR: RM5mil worth of luxury vehicles were seized after police crippled a nationwide syndicate that stole luxury vehicles and re-sold them as cloned vehicles.
City police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim said police got on the syndicate's trail after a 68-year-old man reported his Toyota Vellfire, worth RM400,000, as stolen at Taman Bukit Maluri, Kepong around 2am on Nov 6.
