PETALING JAYA: The number of flood evacuees nationwide has risen after more than 2,500 people were evacuated from their homes following heavy rains in Johor and Pahang.
In total, 2,594 flood evacuees from 772 families were placed across 43 temporary relief centres in Johor, Pahang and Sarawak as at 5pm yesterday, said the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma).
