Cops: 40 Malaysians held in Syria seeking to return home


IPOH (Bernama): The police are making efforts to bring home 40 Malaysians in Syria who are seeking to return home after being detained for suspected involvement in terrorism activities there.

Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division (E8) chief Deputy Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay (pic) said 11 of them were men while the rest comprised women and children.
