THE National Union of Heads of Schools president Wong Sheet Fatt warned that unless laws are amended, the union is under the threat of being closed down, Sin Chew Daily reported.
Many headmasters, said Wong, were unable to rise in ranks in the union as there were provisions under the Trade Unions Act 1959 which disallowed university-educated employees from taking up a post in its national council.
