KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has been accused of acting beyond its legal powers (ultra vires) for issuing compound notices to 80 entities over funds allegedly linked to 1MDB.
Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, who spoke on behalf of 42 out of the 80 entities, said the groups felt victimised by accusations thrown at them and will be lodging police reports over the matter soon.
