KUALA LUMPUR: There was no "initiating directive" from the National Security Council (NSC) to involve the Malaysian military in Ops Yemen 2, says Deputy Defence Minister Liew Chin Tong.
He disputed former defence minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, who claimed on Wednesday (Dec 5) that the NSC handled the operation.
