Woman detained in probe into infant's death in Langkawi

LANGKAWI (Bernama): Police have detained a 36-year-old woman to assist investigations into the discovery of a dead infant in a black rubbish bag and infested with maggots in Kampung Dato Syed Nahar, Mukim Kuah here.

Langkawi district police chief Supt Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the woman, who is also a single mother with other three children, was arrested on Thursday (May 2) night.
