Dengue on the rise in three states

KUALA LUMPUR: Johor, Pahang and Perak have reported big increases in the number of dengue cases recently. 

In Johor Baru, the number of dengue cases went up by 68% to 3,952 cases with 20 deaths last year compared to 2,345 cases with 12 deaths in 2000.
