KOTA KINABALU: Politicians, civil servants and businessmen are among those who bought degrees from unrecognised or non-existent universities offered by a local syndicate.
The syndicate, which is now under police investigation for fraud, offered phoney doctorates, and master’s and bachelor's degrees.
