POOR families under the Hardcore Poor Development programme (PPRT) will be given shares in the Amanah Saham Bumiputra (ASB) Sejahtera investment fund. The Cabinet has approved RM30mil for this purpose.
Both Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia reported that 6,000 families would receive RM5,000 worth of ASB shares each.
