KOTA KINABALU: The new cat shelter in Tenghilan, Tuaran, which currently houses 18 felines that were abandoned nearly two weeks ago, may be turned into a cat village in the future.
Non-governmental organisation, Animal Lovers Independent Rescuer (ALIR), had transported the cats to the new shelter, which is being developed in phases, and hopes to rescue more strays around the area.
