PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa's visit to China was to build cooperation between both countries in regards to peace, religion and socio-economics, not just visit the Uyghur community.

In a statement by his office on Monday (July 1), Dr Mujahid's visit to China was approved by Cabinet and was given guidance by the Foreign Ministry to ensure that the diplomatic relations between both countries would not be affected.
