Housewife sells handphone but only received fake banknotes

PETALING JAYA: A housewife was duped of her smartphone when she sold it to a couple for counterfeit banknotes.

Acting Brickfields OCPD Supt Arifai Tarawe said the woman went to meet with a couple to sell her Samsung Galaxy S10 at a petrol station along Jalan Klang Lama around 2.45pm on Saturday (Aug 24).
