Unable to cope with work stress, an Indonesian domestic helper decided to take the risk by climbing out of the window of a third floor apartment in Selayang, Gombak. The 41-year-old woman began her descent at 8.10am by tying cloth together to make a long rope. However, luck was not on her side as she got stuck on a window frame on the second floor while making her way down. Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul said the team received a call from the public about a woman standing outside the window frame. The victim was seen holding tight onto the makeshift rope when rescue officers arrived at the scene. The Indonesian maid was brought down safely using a ladder and handed over to the police for further action.
