BOXER shorts and brassieres became bargaining tools when MediaWorks artiste Darren Lim and his posse of best men turned up to collect his bride, Evelyn Tan, at her Joo Seng Road flat Saturday.
In keeping with traditional Chinese wedding customs, Lim had to pass several “tests” before he was allowed to see the bride. The obstacles were set by Tan’s bevy of bridesmaids, comprising Kym Ng, Constance Song, Michelle Chia, Ericia Lee, Apple Hong and Eelyn Kok. Lim’s best men were Ix Shen, Adrian Pang, Bryan Wong, Ben Yeo, Bernard Tan and Adam Chen. All are MediaWorks artistes.
