Beijing: Pakistan’s financial woes have dragged the country down to a “low point”, its prime minister told Chinese President Xi Jinping, as he seeks funds from Beijing to stave off a fiscal crisis.
Before travelling to China – one of Pakistan’s firmest allies – Imran Khan said that he was striving to obtain financial aid from two unnamed countries after Pakistan secured US$6bil (RM25bil) in funding from Saudi Arabia.
