TO MEET the growing demand for professionals in event management, Taylor's School of Hospitality and Tourism (TCHT) held an Executive Certificate in Event Management seminar recently. 

The programme leads to an Executive Certificate qualification accorded by the University of Technology Sydney. It provides a broad overview on event management and operations, including budgeting, promotions, public relations, legal considerations, risk management, event evaluation and shutdown procedures. It also highlights some of the industry's best practices in event creation, human resources and sponsorship.
