KUANTAN: A businessman from Kuala Lumpur became the proud owner of a special number plate - SAS 1545 - on the first day of bidding for the special series launched in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of Sultan Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah on the throne.
The number plate starting with SAS - an acronym for Sultan Ahmad Shah - was originally reserved for vehicles registered in Sabah.
