PETALING JAYA: Pole vaulter Teh Weng Chang rewrote his own national record when he cleared 5.00m in the Federal Territory All Comers Open in March last year. More than a year on, his record has yet to be ratified.
When Weng Chang bettered his old mark of 4.90m, the Malaysian Amateur Athletics Union (MAAU) had been suspended by the Sports Commissioner and could not ratify his record.
