KUALA LUMPUR: Negri Sembilan’s Muhd Syafiq Jamaluddin shocked top seed Azrihanif Azahar in the last group match to storm into the Under-18 semi-finals of the 100PLUS POWER National Junior Badminton Circuit Grand Finals at the Kuala Lumpur BA Stadium in Cheras yesterday.
Muhd Syafiq, who won his two earlier group matches, took only 15 minutes to defeat Azrihanif, the Asian Schools champion 15-8, 15-8.
