KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's Sharon Wee, who lost in the semi-finals of the Kuala Lumpur Open last month, moved up three rungs to 23rd in the latest world rankings issued by the Women's International Squash Players Association (Wispa) on Monday.
Sharon, who replaced two-time world junior champion Nicol David as the Malaysian number one, claimed another 224 points from her semi-finals appearance in the tournament, where she was beaten by Australia's Natalie Grinham.
