When Malaysia were trailing 1-2 against Indonesia in the team final, hopes were high on the world No. 19 to level the contest but they lost in straight games to world No. 27 Wahyu Nayaka Arya Pangkaryanira-Ade Yusuf Santoso, paving the way for Indonesia to be crowned the winners.
