Aaron and Soh vow to move higher up after overtaking Goh-Tan

PETALING JAYA: The national men’s doubles badminton pair of Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik are refusing to get carried away after edging ahead of compatriots Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong in the race to qualify for the World Tour Finals in Guangzhou next month.

Aaron-Wooi Yik overtook V Shem-Wee Kiong in provisional eighth spot, the last berth for the lucrative US$1.5mil (RM6.2mil) season finale from Dec 11-15, thanks to their strong semi-final outing at the Fuzhou China Open last week.V Shem-Wee Kiong paid the price for losing in the first round to top seeds and eventual winners Marcus Fernaldi Gideon-Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo of Indonesia.
