PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's challenge at the French Open came to an end after mixed doubles pair Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing were ousted in the quarter-finals.

Kian Meng-Pei Jing stretched world No. 1 Zheng Siwei-Huang Yaqiong of China in a 51-minute battle before going down 14-21,20-22,12-21.
